By subscribing to, reading, listening to, commenting on, or otherwise using You Take You Wherever You Go (the “Publication”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Publication.

1. What this Publication is (and is not)

The Publication shares essays, podcasts, videos, teachings, personal stories, and community discussion about identity, patterns, relationships, nervous system recovery, and related themes. All content is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

The content is not:

  • medical, psychological, psychiatric, or clinical advice

  • therapy, counseling, or a substitute for professional mental health care

  • legal, financial, or tax advice

  • a diagnosis, treatment, or cure for any condition

Reading or engaging with this Publication does not create a coach-client, therapist-patient, or other professional relationship between you and Dorcy Pruter or Dorcy Inc..

Dorcy Pruter is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, physician, or attorney, and nothing here should be treated as care or advice from one. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional for any medical, mental health, legal, or financial concern. Never disregard or delay seeking professional help because of something you read or heard here.

2. If you are in crisis

This Publication is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, thinking about harming yourself or others, or in any immediate danger, contact your local emergency number right away, or reach a crisis line in your country. In the U.S., you can call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline). Do not rely on this Publication for urgent help.

3. Plant medicine and consciousness content

Some content (including the Fungi Family Healing lane) discusses plant medicine, psychedelics, and consciousness work as personal experience, story, and worldview. This content is educational and reflective only. It is not:

  • medical advice or a recommendation to use any substance

  • encouragement or instruction to obtain, possess, or use any illegal substance

  • guidance on dosing, sourcing, or protocols

Laws regarding these substances vary by location. You are solely responsible for your own choices and for complying with all laws that apply to you. Nothing here should be read as encouraging you to break any law or to act against medical guidance.

4. No guarantee of results

Every person and situation is different. Stories, testimonials, and examples shared here reflect individual experiences and are not promises or guarantees of any particular outcome. Your results depend on many factors outside anyone’s control.

5. Personal stories and third parties

Content may include personal stories and reflections involving real events and people, shared from Dorcy Pruter’s own perspective and experience. These reflect one person’s recollection and point of view.

6. Subscriptions, payments, and refunds

Free and paid subscriptions are offered through Substack. Payment processing, billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled by Substack and its payment processor, subject to Substack’s Terms of Use and the processor’s terms.

  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel anytime; cancellation stops future billing and does not retroactively refund prior periods unless required by law or offered at our discretion.

  • Certain benefits (for example, redeemed perks, downloads, or access to live or gated content) may be non-refundable once accessed.

  • Prices and benefits may change; changes apply to future billing periods.

7. Intellectual property

All content in the Publication (writing, audio, video, images, frameworks, and the DORCY and UNHOOK names and methods) is owned by Dorcy Pruter or Dorcy Inc. and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may share links and short quoted excerpts with attribution. You may not copy, republish, resell, or create derivative works from the content, or use it to train AI models, without prior written permission.

8. Community and comments

Comments, chat, and community spaces are for respectful, good-faith conversation. You agree not to post content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, spam, or unlawful, or that shares others’ private information. We may moderate, edit, or remove content and restrict or remove participants at our discretion, for any reason. You are responsible for what you post.

9. Third-party links and services

The Publication may link to third-party sites, tools, and programs (including offers delivered outside Substack). We are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that party’s terms.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Publication is also governed by Substack’s privacy practices and by [your privacy policy, if you have one]. See Substack’s Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Publication is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dorcy Pruter and Dorcy Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Publication or its content. You use the Publication and act on its content at your own risk.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use of the Publication after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

15. Dispute resolution and binding arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights, including your right to go to court and to participate in a class action.

Informal resolution first. If you have a dispute with Dorcy Inc. arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Publication, you agree to first contact us at clientcare@dorcyinc.com and try to resolve it informally for at least thirty (30) days before beginning arbitration.

Binding arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved informally, you and Dorcy Inc. agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Publication will be resolved by final and binding arbitration rather than in court, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect (or another administrator the parties agree to in writing). The arbitrator has exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, or enforceability of this agreement to arbitrate. The arbitration will be conducted in the State of Delaware or, at your election, by telephone or videoconference or in your home county. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Exception. Either party may bring an individual claim in a small-claims court that has jurisdiction, instead of arbitration.

Class action and jury trial waiver. You and Dorcy Inc. agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. You and Dorcy Inc. also waive any right to a jury trial.

30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing clientcare@dorcyinc.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name and your intent to opt out. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and Dorcy Inc. consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

Attorney review needed: arbitration clauses, class-action waivers, and their enforceability vary by state and by consumer-protection law. Have your attorney confirm the administrator, rules, venue, opt-out, and enforceability for your situation before you publish this.
